Meet FitPrep: the AI diet and gym tracker that plans your week

Why I built FitPrep

Most people who get serious about fitness end up with two apps that never talk to each other: one for food, one for the gym. Your diet app doesn't know you hit legs today, and your gym app has no idea you skipped lunch.

I kept running into the same wall. I'd plan a high-protein week, then lose the plot by Wednesday. The plan was fine. What was missing was one place that tells me what to eat today, what to train today, and whether I'm actually on track.

So I built FitPrep: an AI diet and gym tracker that plans your week, logs it in a tap, and turns sticking to it into a streak you don't want to break.

What FitPrep does

FitPrep puts your whole day on one screen: calories left, protein, water, today's meals and today's workout. Here's what's inside.

An AI meal plan built around you

Answer a few quick questions (goal, diet, budget, cooking time, cuisine, foods to avoid) and FitPrep builds a full 7-day plan with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Add a note like "no fish this week, more paneer" and the plan follows it. Your calorie and protein targets come from your age, height, weight, activity and goal.

Snap your plate

Ate something different from the plan? Take a photo. FitPrep estimates the calories and protein, spots that it wasn't the planned dish, and logs it correctly. The photo is only used for the estimate and is never stored.

Prep once, eat all week

A prep-day checklist and a smart grocery list with exact amounts, grouped by aisle. It remembers what's already in your kitchen, so next week's plan uses up food that would otherwise go to waste. Share the list on WhatsApp in one tap.

A gym tracker with a coach inside

Push, Pull, Legs and Full-body days, or your own split. Log sets with weight and reps, get a rest timer and instant PR alerts. Tap any exercise for start and finish photos, step-by-step form cues and a body map of the muscles it works. Machine busy? Swap for a similar exercise in one tap. On gym days your protein and calorie targets go up automatically.

Insights and streaks that keep you going

One overview for diet and training, plus detailed Meals and Gym pages: workouts done, tonnes lifted, muscles trained this week, strength progress per lift and new personal bests. Every meal, glass of water and workout earns XP, with levels, daily quests and a streak at the top of your home screen.

New in 1.2.0: built from tester feedback

Our early testers told us two things. Someone installed on a Wednesday and saw Sunday to Tuesday marked as "skipped". Others wanted to prep on their own days, not ours. So 1.2.0 fixes both, and adds a lot more.

  • Pick when you start. Set separate start dates for your diet and your gym plan. Days before you began are dimmed and never count against your streak or scores.

  • Choose your prep days. One big prep a week or two smaller ones. With two prep days, the grocery list splits into two shops, so your food stays fresh.

  • Exercise guide for beginners. Photos, form steps and a muscle map for 800+ exercises. Tap a muscle on the body to find what trains it, filtered by your gym: full gym, dumbbells only or home.

  • Gym insights. PRs, strength progress per lift, sets per muscle group and a weekly muscle heatmap.

  • Notes for your AI plan. Tell it what you want this week. It only accepts food requests, so it stays on topic.

  • Faster and smoother. Smarter caching means fewer loading spinners, plus gentle haptic feedback when you tick things off (you can switch it off).

Free during launch, private by design

Every feature is free while we launch, including the AI meal plans, recipes and photo scans.

Your data stays yours. Meal photos are never stored. Sign in with Google to back up and sync, and delete your account and all your data from inside the app at any time.

FitPrep gives general nutrition and fitness guidance, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making big changes, especially if you have a health condition.

Try it

FitPrep is on Google Play: FitPrep: AI Diet & Gym Tracker. Install it, set your start date, and plan your first week in under five minutes.
