I got tired of that message, so I built an app for it.
What is EzySplit?
EzySplit is a free app to split shared expenses and settle up without the awkwardness.

Why I built it
I'm Arun, a React Native developer from Jaipur. I build things under the Techtiten name, and EzySplit started as a small app for my own friends because the existing options felt either too complicated or too limited.
The first version went live on the Play Store and real people started using it. That changed how I thought about it: it wasn't a side project anymore, it was something people trusted with their money records.
So I rebuilt it from the ground up, with a faster app, a new design, better privacy, and the same groups and balances people already had.
What makes it different
Free. No ads.
Made for India. Rupee-first, with UPI settle-ups built in.
Private by default. Join requests need admin approval, groups can be locked, and you can delete your account and data whenever you want.
Honest about your data. No advertising ID, and a clear privacy policy.
